Heading to a new country for the first time can be daunting even for a fluent traveller. We hope this helps!

Here’s a comprehensive list of important items to consider before traveling to Bali to ensure a smooth and enjoyable trip:

1. Visa Requirements

Check if you need a visa for Bali (Indonesia).

Most tourists are eligible for a Visa on Arrival (VOA) for 30 days, extendable for another 30 days.

Ensure your passport has at least 6 months of validity and a blank page for the visa.

Your passport must be in good condition.

You can fill out the visa application online here.

2. Health and Safety

Get travel insurance covering medical emergencies, accidents, and theft.

Check required vaccinations, such as Hepatitis A, Typhoid, or Tetanus.

Pack a basic first aid kit, including mosquito repellent and sunscreen.

Our Medical category is great to know where everything is if you need it.
